How Long Is the Certification Valid & What's the Renewal Process?
Your HLTAID012 childcare first aid certificate is valid for three years. When it’s time to refresh your skills, you’ll need to retake the course. Don’t wait until the last minute; you can renew up to three months before expiration so book in a refresher course now!
Does This Course Cover Standard First Aid and CPR Units of Competency?
Yes, our online childcare first aid course covers the units: HLTAID011 Provide First Aid and HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
What Are the Physical Requirements for Completing an online first aid course?
As with any first aid training course, participants must be able to perform 2 minutes uninterrupted CPR on a manikin positioned on the floor.
Zoom Course Equipment Return Policy
Students enrolled in Zoom-delivered courses who receive training kits or equipment as part of their enrolment are required to return all items in good condition upon course completion.
Certificate Release: Student certificates will not be issued until all loaned equipment has been returned.
Return Window: Equipment must be returned within 4 weeks of course completion.
Non-Return Consequences:
After 4 weeks, if the equipment has not been returned, students will be issued an invoice for $250 to cover the cost of the kit.
If the student fails to return the kit or pay the invoice, the account will be referred to a debt collection agency for recovery.
Please ensure you retain proof of return (e.g., tracking information) to avoid disputes or delays in certification.

We require a space large enough for participants to practice skills comfortably (approximately 2m² per person), chairs, and bathroom access. Our trainers bring all necessary training equipment, except for specific courses like manual handling and medication administration where workplace equipment must be available.
What is your payment process for workplace bookings?
We’ll issue your invoice within 48 hours of course completion. Once paid in full, certificates will be issued to all attendees through your corporate portal.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made more than 7 days before training incur no fee. Cancellations within 7 days may incur a 50% fee. Rescheduling options are available at no additional cost with adequate notice.
When will attendees receive their certificates?
Once payment is complete, certificates will be available in your corporate portal. Attendees will also receive an email notification that their certificate is available in their personal portal.
